The divemaster workshop introduces diver, within his certification limits (OC or CCR), to the management of dives, trail dives and to lead a divers team during their scuba diving adventures.
The workshop is focused on:
- dives mangement, considering mainly safety, planning and leading of dives:
- trial dives;
- 'review program' for divers that have stopped scuba activity for more than 6 months
Prerequistites: knowledge of DIR philosophy and configurations.
To cover lack about DIR system, is requested to attend a 'Fundamentals - Intro to Tech' program, before the start of Divemaster course
Divemaster STDA certification provides 3 levels:
Divemaster (to lead/manage dives and organize 'trail dive' )
Divemaster T (to lead/manage dives with or without decompression obbligations, trial dives)
Divemaster R (to lead/manage dives for tek and CCR divers and manage sCCR trail dives for OC certified divers)

O.W. sessions: at least 1 - trainer/candidates ratio: 1/6

maximum time for completing the course: 6 months, (if exceeded the course has to be repeated completely)
